Lincoln Southeast Class of 1997 20 Year Reunion

Class of ’97:

How has it actually been 20 years since we graduated?!? To celebrate this milestone, we invite you to celebrate with all of the familiar faces that you have missed over the past 20 years. Come and join us as we renew friendships, reminisce about days gone by and share life experiences both past and present.

As of now we only have one paid event planned on Sunday through Monday. An event was proposed for Saturday in Lincoln but sadly there was not enough interest. On Sunday we’re gathering at the Hynes' family private lake in Cedar Bluffs to celebrate – we’ll have evening of Food, good 90's music, Family Games, Canoeing (two), Fishing (two boats available), Paddle-boat (one motorized), Swimming (remember it's lake water) and of course great company. Your ticket will cover food, utensils, beverages soda/water/beer/alcohol & event rentals.

We know this is a short drive from Lincoln BUT we promise you it will be worth it as we'll have the private lake all to ourselves. Please remember our reunion is over not only a holiday weekend but also a game day weekend. Everyone is welcome to campout on the property overnight but if you would like to do so please email Cachita at Cachita@StyleOnTheSpot.com so we can get a count of people. If you want to bring any motorized watercraft note the lake is shallow and not safe for jet skis but great for small fishing boats. If you're leaving after the day please remember to have a designated driver.

What to bring: Adult beverages of your choice, Towels, Coolers, Ice, Mosquito Spray, Sunscreen, Lawn chairs, Umbrellas, Fishing Equipment. If you're staying overnight food to share in the AM (fridge only available for this). We are looking for hook ups or donations on porta-potty, tables, chairs, keg tubs or small food tents please email Shannon: shannon9579@gmail.com

We ask that you RSVP ASAP please so we can have a headcount: Adult tickets are $25 EACH, Each child is $5 (if you are coming we ask that you read the below carefully)

*Please follow directions closely as even with GPS it can be hard to see the last turn to the North going to the river (look for balloons)

*Check-In Begins @ 1pm at the front gate, prior to entering the property you will need to check in at the table and then you will be directed to where you can park on the property. Please do not park outside of the gates.

*Eat lunch before arrival as the BBQ STARTS @ 5:30 - 6PM

*We will have loads of stuff for kids to do so please be welcome to bring your entire family but note you will need to bring your own life jackets. If you are bringing children you are liable for them while on the property and or lake. The Platte River is right next to the property and can be very dangerous. If you want to bring a babysitter you are welcome to do so or feel free to have someone pick them up at a certain time to take them home so you can stay longer.

*If you are camping overnight we'll be wrapping up by 1pm on Monday and enjoy a potluck brunch together.

*NO PETS, FIREWORKS OR DANGEROUS ACTIVITIES ALLOWED or you'll have to deal with Tita Hynes ;)

*Rain Check Notice - If there is rain please stay posted the day before, as we will move the party to a Plan B in Lincoln.
